As if the speeding ticket wasn't enough I also got called for jury service of all times in early May! Fortunately as I had already booked a holiday I managed to get it deffered to.... September!!
I got 'done' in 2008 whilst on important business (Ross's Gull), clocked at 36mph in a 30mph limit. I decided to endure an unbelievably patronising road safety course (in case I needed some points leeway for future important business) and was made to feel like I had mown down a bus queue of school children whilst paralytic. What nonsense! They would do well to try and catch some idiots who really put lives at risk like tail-gaters and European lorry drivers. Keep up the good work, Mike
